I am a major foodie. This week I visited St. Augustine for three days. There are so many options when choosing where to eat. I want to share my favorites from the trip, for all meals of the day.
FarmHand Kchn
This place focused on sandwiches and salad. There was a wide range of vegetarian/vegan options as well which I love! I ordered the Tofu bowl and it was so delicious and flavorful. I find usually that tofu is very bland but this tofu was delicious.
Hyppo
The weather was extremely hot when we were there. The Hyppo is a cool spot for delicious popsicles. They have the most unique flavors and are so tasty and refreshing. I got a peanut butter pie popsicle dipped in choclate.
Caps
This restaurant is beautifully decorated and is right on the water. There menu is primarily seafood. There was a 45 minute wait for an outdoor table and it was totally worth it. I ordered the flounder their pesto caesar to start, and my entree was the flounder with spinach and mashed potatoes. I had the banana foster cheesecake for dessert. If I was to go anywhere in St. Augustine, it would be Caps. The food was phenomenal. Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of my dinner here.
Mayday
This ice cream shop is a local business, they make their ice cream right in St. Augustine. Their menu offers many unique flavors and dairy free options. It was delicious, creamy ice cream and recommended by many locals.
The Floridian
This restaurant has an amazing menu. I wanted everything on it and could not decide! They had many vegetarian and vegan options as well. I ended up getting the companys coming to start and cornbread panzanella with tofu as my entree. It was amazing and one of the best salads I have had before.
The Donut Experiment
This place is a fun family spot. It is a cool process and you get to customize your own donuts. They are reasonably priced for what you get. The donuts themselves are made in store and are warm and delicious.
